The Merriment of Spring - Mondays OR Tuesdays,

For Ages 6-12

Bring it on! Let’s celebrate this wonderful season by creating all sorts of colorful creations, keeping a theme of spring in mind. Friends will sculpt adorable clay animals, pots, funky birds, gnomes, garden, planters, as well as paint and draw springtime, paintings, scenes of whimsy, and beautiful garden art. Along the way, we will have fun surprises, art projects with gems and sparkles. So much fun and the joy of camaraderie.

Wheelworks & Creative Clay - Wednesdays 4:30-6 PM
For Ages 8-12
April 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28, June 4
An inspiring class, exploring clay techniques and major creativity. Spring is the perfect time to create treasures that can go outside in the garden as well as inside. Everyone will also have the opportunity to work on the pottery wheel. We will rotate so that everyone can have a turn. Exciting themes of spring will be explored, including green Mann and Celtic, spring celebrations, adorable mushroom characters, incredible fairy houses and wizard dwellings, gnomes, gargoyles, hanging bird baths, and a variety of super fun projects. Personal themes and exploration are welcome. If you love to work in clay, this class is a must for you.

Drawing, Painting, and Mixed Media - Thursdays 4:30-6 PM
For Ages 7-12
May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, June 5
Inspired by the theme of spring and all its beauty, vibrant artists will draw and create several masterpieces on canvas, watercolor paper, collage boxes, and more. Many masterworks will be explored that rejoice in using color and a variety of painting styles. Sketchbooks will be provided, and we will venture out on a few walking field trips to draw and paint. If you love to draw, paint, and explore creative expression, this class is a must.

Learning to Draw Cartoons, Characters, and Perspective with Patrick. Saturdays 10-11:30 AM
For Ages 8-14
May 3, 10, 17, 24
This is an exciting class, learning to draw cartoons, characters, comic books, and perspective drawing. Patrick will teach budding artists how to draw their cartoon pages featuring characters of their own design or from personal favorites, cartoons, and video games. As students advance in technique, they will learn anatomy drawing and have skills to draw a variety of poses. If you have taken Patrick's class this fall, you will be able to expand on your talents.
